Belkote Paints Presents Collaboration Results at Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2024 Road to The World
The Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2024 Road to The World has been completed. Tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world crowded this event during its three-day event. The enthusiasm of visitors was evident from the various activities held, the atmosphere was even more lively with various interactive programs that directly involved visitors. The 7th IMX event which took place from 4 to 6 October at ICE BSD, Tangerang, managed to record a total transaction of IDR 8.7 billion. This figure is higher than last year with a total transaction of up to IDR 6.8 billion. This achievement also exceeded the expectations of IMI Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, who previously estimated that IMX 2024 transactions would increase to IDR 7 billion. This increase in transactions is certainly accompanied by an increase in the quality and scale of the event.
The Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2024 event was well utilized by one of the paint manufacturers made by the nation's children, PT Bintang Chemical Indonesia (Belkote Paints). With a booth themed paint of technology, Belkote introduced the latest technology that is useful as a supporting tool to facilitate the car painting process in the modern era. In addition, with the collaboration of Belkote and Garasi Drift, WetGloss Protection & Bodyshop and GP Sport to create on the legendary car Garasi Drift, Nissan 180SX. Belkote also displayed several modern technologies as supporters in the Auto Refinish process in Indonesia, especially those that function to achieve more precise vehicle paint color results with a high level of efficiency. All of these are presented by Belkote to meet all the needs of body-repair workshops or painters in the painting process in the future.
Andrew Budi Kurniawan, Marketing Director of PT Bintang Chemical Indonesia explained, with the development of technology, all Automotive lifestyle activists, such as modifiers, builders, and car restorations need innovation so that their work is much more efficient.
"This event has become the largest forum for car enthusiasts and modification communities, where we can introduce the latest technology every year," explained Andrew.
Booth & Activity
Presenting a booth with the theme "Paint of Technology", this theme also serves as an introduction to the latest technology that makes it easier to paint cars in the modern era. In addition, Belkote also presents cars belonging to several legendary figures in the automotive world who have previously collaborated with Belkote Paints.
During IMX 2024, Belkote Paints presents VR Spray activities. Visitors can experience painting work directly through painting simulator technology. In addition, visitors can also participate in an autograph session with Takahiro Mori from GP Sports Japan and can take part in a Mini-Quiz with various attractive merchandise.
Collaboration with Garasi Drift
Belkote Paints collaborates with WetGloss Protection & Bodyshop to work on Garasi Drift's Nissan 180SX. The work uses Belkote Epoxy 2K Primer Surfacer High Solid, AXT Basecoat Advance Color Solution in Pure Blue with Code 8X7, and also Belkote PU2K 2100 High Solid Clear Coat. The choice of metallic blue was first made by the Garasi rift team, after previously always using solid colors on their cars.
In addition to enlivening the IMX 2024 event, Belkote Paints is also currently working on the Subaru Impreza which was worked on by Ziko Harnadi (Garasi Drift) and Julian Johan (Jejelogy). The idea for this work was entirely initiated by Ziko and Jeje, and the painting was completed using Belkote AXT Base Coat in Garasi Drift's signature red.

Meanwhile, the painting of the Nissan 180SX used Belkote Epoxy 2K Primer Surfacer High Solid, AXT Basecoat Advance Color Solution in Pure Blue with Code 8X7 which was chosen directly by Ziko Harnadi, and also Belkote PU2K 2100 High Solid Clear Coat.

"Although we have been working with Belkote since 2020, this is the first time we have tried Metallic particle paint, which has reflections that can change color when exposed to light," said Ziko Harnadi from Garasi Drift.
